Glorious Glamping

Tucked away in the corner of beautiful Devon pastureland grazed by the farms dairy cattle, Knightstone Safari Tent makes the perfect retreat for those looking to get closer with nature, whilst maintaining high standards of comfort.

The Knightstone tented lodge, now in it’s second season is based around an African style safari tent with nature at your fingertips located looking onto East Hill’s woodland with the farms private lake just metres away. The tent is built on a wooden platform with a canvas exterior and wooden partitions and pods which enable you to congregate together as a family or relax in your own private areas.

The lodge comfortably sleeps 4 people with one double bed in the master room and one rather sturdy bunk bed in a separate room that would comfortably sleep 2 adults. Arrangements can also be made prior your stay for a larger family with a sofa bed being located in the main living area of the tent. The lodge has been furnished giving a ‘home from home’ feel especially with having an on-site bathroom at the back of the tent with a private toilet and shower, you will also find your own walk in wardrobe/store. The tent also has a log burning range cooker, fully working gas hob and a gas fridge along with everything required to make your stay extra special. A new edition for 2015 sees the Swedish inspired hot tub, heated by a traditional wood burner.

Dave, Vicki, Phoebe and Jack would love to welcome you to their working farm and can guarantee a wonderfully relaxing stay at Knightstone.
